'Recession-proof" industry attracts healthy enrolment
In the latest edition of the Continuing Education feature from the Toronto Sun, Linda White explores health care careers at Ontario’s private career colleges. The article talks about the health care training available at PCCs and how these programs are designed to help students launch careers in the “recession-proof” industry of health care.
“We design our programs with the needs of the community in mind,” says Peter Dykstra, president of the Ontario Association of Career Colleges (OACC) and vice-president of operations with Medix Schools.
