Program Assessments and Program Approvals

In late May, the Ministry shared draft documentation with OACC relating to aproposed process for assessing program approval applications, approving programs, and establishing a roster of pre-qualifying third party assessors.

OACC's Program Standards Committee met on June 5 with Ministry officials and met again on June 20 in order to formulate a response to the draft documents. On July 4, OACC submitted its response raising a number of concerns, asking for further clarification, and making several suggestions. A copy of the submission is attached for your information. An Executive Summary is included in section c of the response paper.
